Since 1977, L&M Gas and Grocery has been a cornerstone of the Boone community. Founded by Leo and Marge Fitzgerald, the store quickly became a local favorite for its welcoming atmosphere and convenient services. In 2004, Maribeth Waldman took ownership, continuing the tradition of community care while expanding the store’s offerings.
In March 2025, Talbarahi LLC purchased L&M Gas and Grocery, ushering in a new chapter while honoring the store’s long-standing legacy. The commitment to friendly service, quality products, and community connection remains at the heart of everything we do.
At L&M, we provide more than just gasoline. Our shelves are stocked with everyday essentials, snacks, and propane, along with a full menu of Northern Lights Pizza and hot foods. And if you ask our customers, they’ll tell you we serve the Best Ice Cream in Town—a sweet tradition Boone families have enjoyed for decades.
